Play on computer

No emulator or desktop install required

The game runs as a normal browser page, so a current desktop browser is enough. There is no APK, EXE, emulator, installer, or app store step between opening the URL and starting a board.

This is a browser game, not a packaged Windows or macOS application. If you want the same rules in a touch-first layout, switch to Meowdoku Mobile.

Desktop workflow

Use the larger screen for 7x7 to 9x9 boards

The PC page is the better fit when you want to keep the board, the archive, and the strategy guide open in neighboring tabs. That matters more on larger 7x7, 8x8, and 9x9 boards where you may want longer deduction runs.

Because the grid and controls stay in one desktop viewport, it is easier to compare rows, columns, and colored regions without hiding the board behind mobile browser chrome.

Mouse controls

Mark X cells and place cats precisely

Click an empty cell once to mark X. Click twice or double-click an empty cell to place a cat, then click the cat cell again to clear it.

Use Restart to reset the current board and Hint when you need one correct placement to continue. For repeat practice across sizes, jump to Meowdoku Unlimited.

Browser profile records

Progress stays with this desktop browser profile

Best times, streaks, and recent records use local browser storage. They remain on the current browser profile and do not automatically sync to a phone, another browser, or another computer.

If you plan to come back from the same laptop, bookmark this page or the exact board URL from the archive. For a shared daily puzzle instead of private local records, open the daily challenge.

FAQ

Meowdoku for PC questions

Can I play Meowdoku on a Windows PC or laptop?

Yes. Open this page in a current desktop browser and play directly without installing an emulator, EXE, or app package.

Can I play Meowdoku on a Mac or Chromebook?

Yes. Meowdoku runs in the desktop browser, so a separate Mac app or ChromeOS download is not required.

Why use the PC page instead of the mobile page?

This page is written for larger screens, mouse-based marking, and quick movement between the board, archive, and strategy guides in desktop tabs.

Will my PC records sync to another device?

No. Best times and recent records are stored locally in the current browser profile, so they do not automatically sync between devices or browser profiles.
