Daily brain teaser
A fresh logic puzzle for short breaks
The Meowdoku daily puzzle gives every player the same board each UTC day. It is small enough for a quick break, but it still rewards clean logic instead of random guessing.
Your goal is to place one cat in each row, column, and colored region. Cats cannot touch horizontally, vertically, or diagonally, so every placement creates useful eliminations.
Why it is different
Not Sudoku, but familiar deduction
Sudoku asks you to place numbers. Meowdoku asks you to place cats, using a ruleset closer to Queens and one-star Star Battle puzzles.
That makes it a good daily logic puzzle if you like visual constraints, compact boards, and puzzles that can be solved from a few strong deductions.
Daily solving routine
Scan, mark, place, repeat
Start with small colored regions and mark impossible cells with X. If a region can only fit in one row or column, remove other cells in that line.
When you place a cat, immediately clear the rest of its row, column, region, and neighboring cells. This keeps the board readable and often reveals the next forced move.

Daily logic puzzle questions
When does the daily puzzle change?
The daily Meowdoku board changes once per UTC day, so everyone gets the same puzzle during that day.
Can I play without an account?
Yes. Meowdoku runs in your browser and saves records locally on your device.
What should I do if I get stuck?
Mark impossible cells first, then look for rows, columns, or regions with only one legal cell left. The hint button can reveal one correct placement.
